Sweet and Low: A Family Story, by Rich Cohen, 2006

Written by the disinherited grandson of the inventor of Sweet ‘N Low, this is not your ordinary corporate biography.  Cohen’s family–and the company they built–were both successful and dysfunctional, and the story Cohen tells is alternately funny and bitter, weaving in the history of artificial sweeteners along the way.  Business and history sweetened with a little soap opera, absorbing and fun.
