Sea Room, by Norman G. Gautreau

Set on the Maine coast during and after World War II, this novel tells the story of three generations of the Dupuy family, French Canadian lobster fishermen and farmers. Lots of great description of the coastal area, boats and 1940’s details as well as colorful characters made this a most enjoyable read. Mr. Gautreau lives in Wakefield and has just completed a screenplay of this story.
