The Charming Quirks of Others, by Alexander McCall Smith

This is the sixth Isabel Dalhousie novel and features the same characters as the previous books. Isabel is a philosopher and the editor of the “Review of Applied Ethics.” She lives in Edinburgh with her toddler son and hunky musician boyfriend Jamie. Problems both personal and those brought to her by friends and acquaintances are encountered. Isabel speculates, investigates and resolves the issues. If you like the “No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” book by this author, you will enjoy this series also. I certainly do.
