The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection, by Alexander McCall Smith

This is the lucky number 13 for the “No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” series. Mme Ramotswe finds herself dreaming of a “tall, well-built man” who proclaims to her “I have come at last, Mma Ramotswe.” For those who have read some of the earlier stories, you will be surprised to meet in this story the world famous author of “The Principles of Private Detection,” prized manual of the lady detectives. All the books in this series are fun, good-natured and make a visit to Botswana, Africa, either for real or by armchair travel, seem like the best idea ever.
