Review: The Case of the Love Commandos: From the File of Vish Puri, India’s Most Private Investigator, by Tarquin Hall

This is the fourth book in this series and another winner. Hall deals here with the caste system which although formally outlawed is still very much a fact of life in India. Puri and his crew help a young couple whose lives are in danger because they are of different castes and wish to get married. Puri’s own Mummy-Ji is busy with her own case, trying to track down a pickpocket on a train of whom Puri is a victim. I listened to the fabulous audio version read by the talented Sam Dastor.

RATING: * * * * Very, very good
